GBmoto Racing was formed in 2000 and first celebrated success in the World and UK Endurance Championships before winning the UK Endurance Championship in 2004, 2007 and 2008.
The team first raced in the MCE British Superbike paddock in 2011 in the National Superstock Championship before moving up to the MCE BSB class for the 2012 season. Quigley scored the team their first points of the season at Oulton Park with the team scoring their best result last season at Oulton Park when Peter Hickman finished sixth.
The team switched to Kawasaki machinery for the 2014 season, as James Ellison and Chris Walker got off to a flying start to score GBmoto Racing's maiden podium finish in the premier class at the opening round at Brands Hatch. Walker made the Showdown for the first time for both himself and the team, whilst Ellison had to fight back from injury after a huge crash at Brands Hatch. He heroically fought back to finish on the podium before the end of the season and returns for 2015 alongside James Westmoreland.
